Benefits of Energy-Efficient Window Replacement

Energy Savings

Our energy-efficient windows are designed to significantly reduce energy consumption by improving the insulation of your home. This enhanced insulation means that your heating and cooling systems won't have to work as hard to maintain comfortable indoor temperatures, leading to lower energy bills.

Increased Home Comfort

Windows from Green Energy of San Antonio are engineered to keep your home comfortable throughout the year. During the winter, our windows provide superior insulation that helps retain heat inside your home, keeping it warm and cozy. In the summer, these windows prevent the intense Texas heat from infiltrating your home, maintaining a cooler indoor environment. The result is a consistently comfortable living space, regardless of the season.

Noise Reduction

New windows do more than just improve energy efficiency and aesthetics—they also contribute to a quieter home. Our windows are designed to reduce the amount of noise that enters your home from the outside. This is particularly beneficial if you live in a busy area or near a noisy street. The advanced materials and construction of our windows create a sound barrier, significantly diminishing the intrusion of external noises. We also have additional noise reduction in the form of our Serenity Glass if even more reduction is desired.

“No longer is our A/C struggling to keep up with the 100+ degree August days and our energy-efficient windows are to thank. How To Tell If You Need Window Replacement

There are many tell-tale signs that your San Antonio home is in need of window replacement. Things like materials, window performance, and noise levels are all things to consider if you think you may need to install replacement windows.

X icon

Single-Pane Windows

Single-pane windows are outdated, and do a poor job of reducing thermal transfer through your windows. Currently, dual-pane glass is the standard for any window replacement projecs. If you know that your windows are single-pane, that information alone could be an appropriate reason to seek window replacement services. The durability and performance of dual-pane windows make standard single-pane windows no match.

X icon

Noticeable Drafts & Poor Performance

Windows are meant to provide a convenient opening to the outside world, but should also provide an efficient and impenetrable seal when closed. Unfortunately, older and underperforming windows can lead to noticeable drafts, which results in your air conditioning or heating unit having to work harder than it should need to. Additionally, drafts can make the room uncomfortable, especially in the cooler winter months. If you notice a draft in your room, it’s likely due to your windows — meaning it could be  time for window replacement.

X icon

Excessive Noise Pollution

If it seems like your windows are letting in a lot of noises when closed, your windows could be outdated. Single-pane windows and older windows in general tend to let more noise in when compared to newer, double-pane windows.  If things like traffic, airplanes, barking dogs, and neighbors mowing the lawn tend to be an annoyance while in your home with the windows closed, it could be a sign that it’s time to replace your windows. Enjoy a quieter and more comfortable home with window replacement from Green Energy of San Antonio.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much will it cost to replace my home’s windows?

Through our current promotion, customers can purchase 10 double hung windows for $9,990. If your home has more or less windows, contact Green Energy of San Antonio to receive a quote for your window replacement needs. We always aim to offer affordable windows for our replacement window services.

Is financing available for window replacement?

Yes, financing is available for our replacement window services. For more information, use our Financing Calculator at the top of this page or contact us to learn more.

How often should my windows be replaced?

Most home windows have an average lifespan of anywhere from 15 to 20 years. Once windows reach this age, their seals tend to start to weaken or fail. Failing or weakened window seals can lead to water seepage from rain or snow, as well as drafts. Additionally, if your home still has standard single pane windows, you should consider replacing them as soon as possible regardless of age. The energy efficiency and insulation provided by standard single-pane windows simply do not compete with the benefits provided by double-paned windows.

Can I replace my windows myself?

Green Energy of San Antonio does not recommend performing DIY window replacement. Not only can a small mistake mean drafts and water leaking into your home through the windows, but DIY window replacement is dangerous when working on the 2nd and 3rd floors. Our experts have performed window replacement in San Antonio countless times, and you can be sure that the job will be done correctly and safely.
